This dataset contains phenological data on the timing of major life events for crops in all treatments (G1-G10) of the GLBRC Biofuel Cropping System Experiment (BSCE) collected by either direct observation or photography.

GLBRC092-001 Phenology 2010-2012

Direct observations on timing of major life events of specific crop plants in BCSE treatments (G1-G10) recorded from 2010-2012. Plants are labelled by their relative location in the plot (N, S, E, W and P1, P2). Data from 2013-2017 are in a companion datatable because the protocol changed to observations based on the whole plot.

GLBRC092-002 Phenology Camera Images

Photos from wildlife cameras installed in replicate 1 in all BCSE treatments (G1-G10) and pictures taken at noon each day are periodically assembled into a movie. Original images are available on request.

GLBRC092-003 Phenocam Network Images

Hourly images from wildlife cameras installed in replicate 1 of all BCSE treatments (G1-G10) from 2015-2021 were sent to the national Phenocam network. These images are currently available under the following URLS:

GLBRC092-004 Phenology 2013-2017

Direct observations on the timing of major life events in entire plots of crops in BCSE treatments (G1-G10) from 2013-2017. Data from 2010 to 2012 are in a companion datatable because the protocol changed. Canopy closure was added in 2016.
