Biomass composition of the six sorghum varieties analyzed by NREL using near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy to measure glucan, xylan, lignin, and ash concentrations as indicators of plant digestibility.

This datatable is part of the KBS GLBRC Sorghum Variety Trial dataset.
Data from Sorghum Variety Trial established in 2020-2021 at the north edge of the Biofuel Cropping System Experiment at the GLBRC Intensive Field Site. The trial consists of 6 sorghum varieties, each planted in 3.0 x 9.1 m plots randomly distributed in 4 replicate blocks. See the plot map for varieties and layout.
