2021-09-16 Sampling ANPP sampled treatments G5 - G11, except G8. ANPP is assessed by clipping all of the above-ground portion of plants that are rooted within the bounds of a quadrat (0.5m X 2m). Two quadrats (frames) were sampled in each splitplot (+N and 0N). Sample locations are predetermined to avoid the sheltered area in G5 and associated areas designated for ambient and irrigated plant sampling, as well as harvest yield strips. The predetermined locations are a specified distance and direction from a plot corner. All plants rooted within each quadrat are clipped at ground level and bagged. All subsamples are dried at 60C for a minimum of 48 hours and dry weights measured. MSG10R1 5226
