Tissue P Concentrations of Archived Plant Samples — GLBRC Biofuel Cropping System Experiment
Data in the KBS LTER core database may not be published without written permission of the lead investigator or project director Full terms of use
Archived plant samples were analyzed for P content to develop a phosphorus balance for the BCSE.
This datatable is part of the Phosphorus Balance in Agricultrual Ecosystems dataset.
Phosphorus (P) budgets for cropping systems show whether there is a net surplus or deficit, which relates to the sustainability of production as well as the potential for P export, a major driver of eutrophication. We analyzed P inputs (fertilization and atmospheric deposition) and outputs (harvest and leaching losses) to determine the P balance over time.
