Tables
- GLBRC083-003 Activity Report
This tables lists the activities and equipment used on replicate 1 of the GLBRC BCSE (Biofuel Cropping System Experiment). This table only lists one replicate since most activities are the same between replicates.
- GLBRC083-007 GLBRC Intensive Site GPS Coordinates
Point location coordinates for various features on the GLBRC Intensive experiment collected with GPS (global positioning system).
- GLBRC083-008 GLBRC KBS Marshall Farm Scale-up Site GPS Coordinates
Point location coordinates for various features on the KBS GLBRC Scale-up fields collected with GPS (global positioning system).
- GLBRC083-009 Elevations measured with RTK GPS
Elevations of the KBS GLBRC Intensive site as measured by survey-grade gps from a tractor-mounted real-time kinetic GPS.
- GLBRC083-010 GLBRC KBS Lux Arbor Reserve Scale-up Site GPS Coordinates
Point location coordinates for various features on the KBS GLBRC Scale-up fields collected with GPS (global positioning system).
- GLBRC083-011 KBS GLBRC Intensive Site Crop History
Crop history on GLBRC Intensive Site (“field 98”) prior to the start of the GLBRC project. Field 98-1 (5.8 acres) is approximately the field area west of the GLBRC Biofuel Cropping System Experiment, field 98-2 (23.4 acres) is approximately the northern section of the GLBRC Biofuel Cropping System Experiment where blocks 1-3 are located and field 98-3 (26 acres) is approximately the southern section of the GLBRC Biofuel Cropping System Experiment where blocks 4-5 are located.
Prior to 1988, field 98 was managed by the KBS Dairy Farm. Crop rotations or rotation duration for specific years prior to 1988 can not be identified. With relative confidence we can say that the crops produced prior to 1988 consisted of four types: alfalfa, corn, soybeans, and wheat. By verbal communication from KBS Dairy Farm members KBS has owned/managed field 98 in 1980 and most likely as far back as the 1950’s-1960.
- GLBRC083-012 Other Materials applied by Year and Treatment
A report of the miscellaneous materials used on all treatments and replicates of the GLBRC Intensive site.
- GLBRC083-013 KBS GLBRC Scale-up Site Crop History
Crop history on GLBRC Scale-up Sites prior to the start of the GLBRC project.
Lux Arbor fields: Field 62 = L1 (Continuous Corn), field 63 = L2 (switchgrass), field 64 and 65 = L3 (prairie).
Marshall Farm fields: Field 44-1 = M1 (continuous corn), field 44-2 = M2 (prairie) and field 44-3 = M3 (switchgrass). Some fields were not always operated by KBS so we don’t have information about what was growing during that time period.- GLBRC083-014 Switchgrass Varieties Planted on GLBRC Research Experiments
Switchgrass has been planted on various GLBRC experiments. This table indicates which variety of switchgrass was planted. Panicum virgatum var. Cave-in-Rock is a non-native variety and Panicum virgatum var. Southlow is a native variety.
- GLBRC083-015 Perennial seed species and seeding rate of all GLBRC Experiments
Perennial species and seeding rates on the GLBRC Experiments.
Click here for the actual seeding rates of the Marginal Land Exp. treatments at each of the 6 sites in Michigan and Wisconsin.
- GLBRC083-017 Geometrical centroids of experiments in GLBRC Intensive Sites
- GLBRC083-018 Geometric centroids of experiments in GLBRC scaleup sites
A collection of geometric centroids of experiments at GLBRC scaleup sites
- GLBRC083-019 Geometrical centroids of experiments in GLBRC Extensive Sites
This table contains the geospatial centroid information of the sampling locations at the GLBRC Extensive Experiment
- GLBRC083-020 Fertilizer applied between 2003 and 2008 to the BCSE
Fertilizer applied to the field that became the BCSE prior to 2008. There were 3 subfields 98-1, 98-2 and 98-3 that were combined to provide the space for the BCSE.
